Due to the decision to cancel the Jan campout, I thought it would be good to have an event on a Saturday, Feb 6.

What:  learn to use Shepherd’s slings effectively.  Shephard’s slings made of paracord and leather and ammo (marshmallows, yep, no kidding) provided.  Here’s the link to the site that we obtained a bunch of the slings from:  https://www.shepherdsling.com       Also, we will be spending some time getting the boy’s records on advancement updated.

Where:  Mater Dei Catholic Church from 10am to 1 pm. We will start in the St. Mathias room, and then move outside to the parking lot, or if is dry, to the field behind the rectory.

             Note that Mass is commonly celebrated at 9 am Saturday morning, and you are welcome to attend that prior to the activities.

Lunch?:  Provided- Sandwiches, etc..

Cost:  Nothing.

What if the weather is inclement?:    We will do the activities in the St. Mathias room, so come on down, rain or shine.
