Please visit the website to RSVP/Register for the Our Lady of Fatima procession this Wednesday, 10/13, to let me know how many we can expect.
2-mile Our Lady of Fatima Candlelight Procession to Trinity Park on the anniversary date of the Miracle of the Sun. The year 1917 marked the year Our Lady appeared to 3 shepherd children in Portugal, Spain, where she granted the miracle & brought about many conversions through her intercession. An outdoor potluck social to follow.
We have been asked to arrive at 1810 to establish our place in the procession.

With this being said, due to the possibility of rain on Wednesday for part or all of the Procession, please see the plans below:

With this being said, due to the possibility of rain on Wednesday for part or all of the Procession, please see the plans below:
Plan A: NO RAIN – Continue as planned.
Plan B: Rain (if lightning is not an issue) – You may choose to go out and process with the faithful who would like to continue on, as planned, in the rain OR remain on the property to pray the program of prayers and hymns with the faithful who wish to remain. There will be designated leads in both areas.
Plan C: Rain (if lightning is an issue) – All will remain on the property to pray the program of prayers and hymns.
NOTE: Prepare for wet weather (hats, umbrellas, rain gear), wear proper modest chapel attire, have flashlights/lit candles, and bring a food item to share and your rosary. The paper booklets will be available to take home for $3 suggested donation (maximum 2 booklets/family).
SCHEDULE:
6:30 p.m. Rosary Procession (2-mile walk to the park there & back non-stop OR remain on the premises to pray)
7:45 p.m. Talk by Fr. Jim Kelleher, S.O.L.T.
8:00 p.m. Potluck Social (bring a side to share)
10:00 p.m. Conclude
